After working in the hospitality industry for many years, I made a career change in 2010 which has led me to a more sedintary lifestyle and significant weight gain. I struggled with keeping a regular exercise regimen until I found Fitness Fusion in April. As I am looking toward my 41st to be my best self yet by cleaning up my eating and increasing the intensity of my workouts. My favorite classes to challenge myself are TRX and Cardio Sculpt. I have increaed the weights I use and am feeling the difference. I have even started running once a week! I was motivated to do so when we went for a run during TRX class one day. As we jogged by a man in a wheelchair I realized how grateful and lucky I am to be healthy and able bodied. Danielle was so, so nice. After I bought the groupon I thought maybe I had taken on something I wasn’t ready for – fitness wise….and emailed her with my concerns, but she had me come in and do a class. She said if classes didn’t work out, she would work something out with me – maybe some personal training time, etc. Just saying that to me made me feel I had made the right choice in trying her studio. She is a great instructor, her space is comfortable. It’s not a snobby, exclusive “fit only welcome” place. She is serious about helping people get fit but in a safe and healthy way. I was very impressed. She doesn’t expect everyone coming in to be at the same level. She really put my mind at ease and spent some time before class to explain everything.
Danielle’s training sessions are an inspiration to anyone who works out with her. Danielle helped me on my journey towards losing my baby weight and getting to a weight I hadn’t hit since high school. Including baby weight, I lost 100 pounds, and have kept it off with Danielle’s help. In addition, I’ve run my personal best time in 10Ks, half marathons and marathons over the past year.
The training sessions are varied monthly which keeps you interested, focusing on strength, balance, speed and overall fitness. From free weights to kick boxing, every week is something new. In addition, Danielle was always aware of areas of personal weakness, for me balance and flexibility. I attribute much of my current success to things that I have learned from Danielle.

I’ve always kept fit by running but when I turned 39 my doctor said I needed to include weight training in my fitness routine. I began training with Danielle in January 2006 doing a once a week weight program which I increased to twice a week in September 2006. Over the course of the year, I have not only visibly increased my muscle tone but also improved my flexibility and lost 5 stubborn pounds. Danielle has made every session varied, fun and personal. Knowing that she has prepared for my training session, gives me motivation to show up on days when I would rather be anywhere else but the gym!

My husband and I are middle aged and were both told by our doctors exercise is the most important thing we can do for the future enjoyment of our lives. I gave our workout sessions with Danielle to my husband as a gift. He hated it and went, kicking and screaming to the first session. It has been 15 months and we both see a huge improvement in our strength, in the shapes of our bodies (our clothes fit better and look better) and in our general sense of well being. We have a great time exercising together with Danielle. She knows when to push and when not to push, how to modify an exercise and how to ensure we are doing it the right way. We are amazed at the things we can do now and many of our little aches and pains have disappeared as we have gotten stronger. Regular, monitored exercise has become an essential part of our lives.
Personal training has changed my life in so many ways. It has helped me lose 80 lbs over the last 2 years with all the associated health benefits such as lower blood pressure and it has made it easier for me to deal with day to day chores because of greater muscle tone and overall flexibility. I am fitter now and have a more toned figure than 27 years ago when I met my husband. Danielle has given me motivation and perseverance. The results speak for themselves.
The best feature of training with Danielle is the surprise factor. All the sessions are different so you can never get bored and there’s always something new to try. As you get fitter the sessions get harder and so the benefits continue. I love the range of exercises and the opportunity to try new things. I always feel I have had a thorough workout but have never been made to feel unable to complete the exercises. Danielle develops the regimens with great skill.
I have trained with Danielle for 2 years and she has motivated me over the years to lose the weight and get fit , even during a period of injury when exercising was difficult. I’m looking forward to continuing training with her since her enthusiasm and motivation will get me to my target weight a fitter and healthier person.
